Last but not least. Making the 25th colorway for Memory Lane. Our biggest update preorder ever with 25 of our favorites over the years. Celebrating 3 years with LFC. Say hello to Sarang. Sarang means “love” in Korean. For the longest time, I didn’t love myself. Growing up as an orphan and later getting adopted by a military family with a first generation Korean mother, life was filled with chaos and uncertainties. I never felt good enough.
I read that an abused child doesn’t learn to hate their parents, they learn to hate themselves. After going through life choosing people that solidified my internal hate I had for myself I finally met my best friend. The one person in my life who truly loved me and taught me to love myself.
Since that was just the start of the loving myself journey, today an an adult I realize that loving yourself can be not only a daily battle but an hourly one and on those rougher more challenging days, every second.
I hope this Colorway reminds all of us to just be kind, gentle and patient with ourselves to love ourselves just a little bit more.
