Say Hello to, “Lotte World!” My first field trip when I lived in Korea! It’s basically a Korean Disney World. It’s super colorful and Koreans version of Sanrio. I remember it like it was yesterday. I adored all the bright shades, the pinks, blues and yellows.
This collection is dear and close to my heart. I was born in Korea and Korean was my first language. I quickly forgot it all when I was adopted at 4 years old and brought to the United States. My mom taught me how to read and write Korean when I was in the second grade. I also took Korean as a foreign language when we were stationed back to Korea and of course everyone in my class cheated off my homework since I knew the most ironically. I can speak Korean at a first grade level but I can eavesdrop on a Korean speaking conversation at a much higher grade level. I guess that’s just how it goes.
