This colorway was inspired by my daughter @madimadecrafts wanting to go to a beach we were in LA last year for the first time. We couldn’t decide on a beach. I knew that I wanted a dock of some sort and this beach ended up being everything we wanted and more. We were able to take photos of her, “Whisper of a Heart,” sweater right when the sun was going down. And it was a day to remember.
Santa Monica Sunset was born from a quiet evening where the ocean met the sky in a wash of light. As the sun slipped toward the Pacific, the horizon softened into layers of pale gold, blushing rose, and the gentlest whisper of peach, colors so fleeting they felt almost like a dream.
This colorway captures that moment when the day exhales and the world glows softly for just a breath before night arrives. Warm sunlight lingers in buttery gold, drifting through clouds of soft pink and sun-warmed sand, like the last light dancing across the water.
